Job Description

The Central Processing Coordinator’s responsibilities include receiving of all New England Donor Services (NEDS) deliveries, shipping of tissue to processors, ordering clinical supplies, shelving and rotating stock, keeping track of inventory levels for tissue and organ needs, packing organ and tissue recovery packs, cleaning and sterilization of instrument kits as well as cleaning of the clinical areas per NEDS standards.


Schedule: Full Time - 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is out-going, self-motivated, independent, adaptable, detail oriented, organized and has experience working in a hospital or medical field in either inventory control, central processing or database entry. 

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using an electronic inventory system preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. 
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend and life for extended period of time
