Job Description

This is an exciting time for growth at Network Perception as we launch our cloud-based product, NP-Live. We are now searching for a DevOps Engineer to develop, maintain, and support our growing infrastructure and application development. We’re looking to this person to self-identify and implement solutions in collaboration with our team to improve the efficiency, reliability, and integrations of our services.

We’re a very small, close knit team with big growth plans. We believe that working as a DevOps Engineer at Network Perception provides an opportunity to have a meaningful, significant impact on a product enabling the security of our nation’s most critical infrastructure

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize build, deployment, and release management practices to ensure a continuous integration/ continuous deployment model
  • Develop and sustain a Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) pipeline solution that fully automates the build and deployment of company products
  • Ensure that our internal information security policy is correctly implemented and followed
  • Fully support sprint release flow processes and management of DevOps environments including prepping packages, managing libraries, and managing cloud storage for releases
  • Establish sustainable tools and processes to manage a distributed deployment model in a container environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering
  • At least two years of experience in a Dev Ops Engineer (or similar) or role supporting enterprise products or software
  • Experience using DevOps Automation tools like GitLab, AWS, Docker
  • Multi-package delivery: Linux, Mac, Windows, Desktop and Linux Server
  • Experienced in automation and patch management (Windows/Linux)
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience working with Developers, and Test Engineers in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevOps program throughout the organization
  • Some experience with or knowledge of security areas of Key Management Systems and Certificate Management
