Job Description

The Data Migrations Manager is a new position designed to help drive success of Network for Good’s donor management customers by helping them import/migrate their existing data from legacy systems or spreadsheets into their new Network for Good donor management SaaS solution. As part of the Customer Success team, this role will manage a team of data specialists and work closely with Product and Development teams to optimize the data import process, improve quality of customer’s data and exceed customer expectations, while owning the data migration process overall.

Your primary mission is to scale our import and data migration capabilities to support adding thousands of new customers to our service. You will also need to be able to manage capacity and backlogs, analyze data files, work on technical issues and explain issues to non-technical end-users, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The key responsibilities are:

• As an expert in data migration, help our data analysts troubleshoot client file problems and recommend strategies to improve data quality and speed of migration
• Identify automation opportunities and define requirements for developers to automate manual work
• Act as a liaison between customers, our Success team, and import data analysts providing clear information and updates that ensure a smooth data migration experience for all
• Manage issues, escalations and create processes to continually meet client expectations and resolve backlogs
• Maintain schedules for operational tasks, track key client and performance data
• Ensure processes and procedures for data migration are documented
• Hire and ensure proper training for new data analysts and monitor quality of work


Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working with many datasets and formats from a variety of vendors, providers and platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills and near expert level data manipulation skills in Excel and/or other data tools
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success and effectiveness in scaling operations and processes in a rapidly changing, collaborative, and time-critical work environment
• Ability to produce quality deliverables within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Experience managing people with in technical or analytical roles
• Prior experience with Nonprofit CRM solutions preferred
