Job Description

This position will collaborate with various senior leaders within the organization on its financial planning & analysis as well as be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and various ad hoc analyses. They will contribute to efforts for executive presentations involving financial results and all related analysis.

The key responsibilities are:

• Work with senior leadership across the organization to prepare their detailed annual budget and to build monthly, quarterly and multi-year forecasts.
• Prepare monthly analysis that highlight key drivers of variances vs. the budget, forecast, prior months and prior year.
• Lead monthly reviews of performance with budget holders to evaluate performance and adjustments to the forecast.
• Provide financial support for operational review meetings with the Executive Team that highlight financial and key performance indicator (KPI’s) performance.
• Collaborate with peers in Finance & Accounting on the monthly close to ensure accruals are properly reflected in the correct time periods.
• Establish and maintain proper financial controls over established processes.
• Look for ways to improve accuracy and reduce the amount of time required to complete the current forecasting process through the increased use of automation and developing new tools and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with particular focus on financial modeling and the use of advanced Excel features.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics and Zuora is a strong plus.
• Experience with Software as a Service accounting highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required.
• Team player able to build relationships and work across the organization.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with superior problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills.
