Job Description

The Network for Good Marketing Team is looking for a Director, Demand Generation to take Network for Good’s growth to the next level. In this role, you’ll own the development and implementation of our demand generation strategy, helping us win new customers and become the leading donation management software solution. You’ll work with the CRO and VP, Digital Marketing to set a vision, and then you’ll make it happen. You’ll launch, scale, and optimize demand generation channels and ensure that the sales team is set up for success with a rich pool of high-quality leads.

The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter who can maintain a balance between setting a strategic vision and executing at a high-quality. You have a proven background in B2B demand generation at a fast-growing technology, enterprise and/or SaaS company. You have a strong bias to action with an ability to ruthlessly prioritize. You’re obsessed with data with a strong focus on marketing attribution, measurement and ROI. We’re looking for an inspirational leader who can also build up a high-performing demand-gen team. The position reports to the VP, Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Create a best-practice B2B demand generation process.
• Manage the marketing/sales funnel using the waterfall methodology
• Develop an integrated demand generation strategy to attract key personas and meet set revenue targets with integrated campaigns/programs including digital and traditional marketing leveraging digital advertising, SEO/SEM, retargeting, events, content marketing, webinars, events, email nurtures, social media, etc.
• Generate a rich pool of qualified inbound and outbound leads for the Sales team
• Test, learn, operationalize.
• Partner with Sales leadership on a daily basis to achieve joint goals for lead generation and sales.
• Develop a sales enablement program and create sales tools to help Sales drive deal closure.
• Train Sales on upcoming campaigns and programs, call blitz, etc.
• Work with content team to develop and create new content to support sales and demand generation programs.
• Develop and manage demand generation metrics, create dashboards and reporting, including marketing attribution analysis.
• Work cross functionally with product/sales/sales operations and technology to lead our efforts in marketing attribution and ensure we know the ROI on our marketing investments
• Regularly report on metrics noting interesting trends and findings, make recommendations to continuously improve and optimize.
• Continuously improve the use of the marketing automation tool (Marketo) and deliver more value for the business.
• Manage and develop a high performing team of two.
• Collaborate and coordinate, as needed, with other teams (sales, product, customer marketing, marketing communications, etc.) to deliver on revenue goals.
• Other duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 10+ years of marketing experience building and scaling demand generation programs, ideally in technology, B2B and/or enterprise/SaaS space.
• Detailed knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo or similar marketing automation tools and other demand gen tools.
• Deep experience with demand gen channels including: AdWords, Facebook, Search/SEO, Display, Re-targeting, etc.
• Analytical mind set focused on measuring and tracking results.
• Innovative out-of the box thinker. You know the playbook but you’re not limited by it.
• Strong, persuasive communicator.
• Data obsessed with track record of demonstrating clear growth.
• A positive attitude: You’re a team player and you work effectively with different teams.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize.
• Experience at a start-up or in a scrappy, fast-moving culture is a must.
• Experience working with outside vendors and managing budgets.
• Strong project management skills to move deliverables to completion.
