Job Description

As the Project Manager in Operations team, you will work closely with the team’s managers and help coordinate work across multiple projects. This role combines project delivery, operational coordination, client communication and support in organizing the team’s work. You will need technical understanding to work confidently with IT specialists to grasp operational context of the projects.

Your tasks will include:

  • Leading and coordinating projects involving IT teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting managers in planning, prioritizing and following up on the team’s work
  • Coordinating operational cases and helping ensure that actions are performed more effectively
  • Maintaining clear processes, project documentation and status updates
  • Building effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and issues and supporting the team with resolving them

Qualifications

Qualifications

We expect that you:

  • Have a bachelor’s, master’s or engineering degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Infrastructure or other relevant vocational education experience
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant IT role, such as project coordination, IT operations, consulting or software development
  • Have experience coordinating projects or working involving several stakeholders
  • Understand the fundamentals of IT infrastructure and operations
  • Take initiative, learn quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Work in a structured, process-oriented way and are comfortable creating and maintaining documentation
  • Have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

It would be beneficial (but not a must) if you:

  • Have experience with Linux and cloud platforms, particularly Azure
  • Hold a relevant project management or service management certification, such as PRINCE2 or ITIL
