Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of an IT Logistics Operations Agent in Netcompany?
As an IT Logistics Operations Agent, you will:
- Receive and review incoming IT logistics requests from end-users, service teams and other authorised stakeholders.
- Check that each request contains the information required for execution; request clarification or additional information when needed.
- Register, update, assign and track logistics requests in ServiceNow HAM / SNOWHAM throughout their lifecycle until completion.
- Translate approved requests into the appropriate operational logistics action, such as equipment preparation, delivery, collection, return, relocation, swap or other asset movement.
- Perform the required administrative encoding and asset updates in accordance with the applicable procedures.
- Ensure consistency between the logistics request, the physical asset movement and the information recorded in ServiceNow HAM and ABAC Assets Forms.
- Coordinate request execution with warehouse/logistics operators, distribution teams, field technicians and other support teams.
- Monitor open requests, follow up on pending actions, identify blockers and escalate exceptions or discrepancies when required.
- Support periodic inventory checks, reconciliations and audits by providing traceable and reliable transaction information.
- Produce basic operational reports and activity follow-up information when requested.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years of experience in IT logistics, asset administration, stock coordination, service operations or a comparable function.
- Very good knowledge of English and French (minimum B2 level)
- Good understanding of IT equipment logistics and asset lifecycle processes and working knowledge of ServiceNow
- Very good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality, traceability and procedure compliance
- Ability to analyse requests, identify missing information and follow an operational workflow from intake to closure
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in parallel.
- Customer-oriented communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational and technical teams
What is a strong asset for the role:
- Previous experience with ABAC Assets Forms or European Commission asset-management processes
- Experience in an EU Institution or a comparable large, structured organisation
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Knowledge of an additional EU language
- Experience with operational reporting, inventory reconciliation or asset audits and with Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
