Actuarial Consultant

  • Full-time

Job Description

Would you like to shape Denmark’s pension solutions of tomorrow? As our new Consultant, you’ll use your actuarial expertise to turn complex models and business logic into tangible solutions, creating value for clients and society. Join a major IT project and turn theory into practice.

Responsibilities

As a Consultant within the life and pensions industry, you will become part of a specialised team contributing to the development of a new, unified IT system for pension solutions in Denmark.

You will work at the intersection of deep expertise in actuarial mathematics and technical implementation in a dynamic, and ambitious environment. Your expertise will be at the heart of our work, and you will see your analyses, business insights, and models create direct value for our clients and their businesses. Your work will involve developing and implementing complex calculation models and ensuring that solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements.

In addition, you will gain broad insight into different companies within the pensions industry and develop expertise in delivering large-scale IT projects. You will work closely with actuaries and pension experts at our clients and contribute to building actuarial and pension-specific capabilities at Netcompany.

Your responsibilities will typically include:

  • Developing and implementing calculation models for life and pension products.

  • Quality assurance and testing of pension products, as well as bridging the gap between actuarial expertise and technical implementation.

  • Ensuring that solutions comply with applicable legislation and standards.

  • Communicating complex analyses and results to colleagues, developers, testers, and clients.

  • Contributing to the design and customisation of insurance and pension products within our solutions.

About you

  • You are a recent graduate or have a few years of relevant professional experience within actuarial mathematics.

  • You hold a Master’s degree in actuarial science (cand.act.) or a similar relevant degree that has given you a strong academic foundation and a logical approach to handling large datasets and advanced models.

  • You thrive in a dynamic environment focused on collaboration and continuous personal and professional development.

  • You are motivated by becoming part of Netcompany’s strong focus on Financial Services (FSI), where pensions are a key domain in Denmark.
