Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of a System Administrator (Medior - Senior) in Netcompany?
By joining us as a System Administrator (Medior - Senior), you will manage ICT system components related to hosting services to meet service requirements. You will install, configure, and upgrade ICT systems while overseeing daily operations to ensure service continuity, recovery, security, and performance.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex system, hardware, and software issues to ensure service continuity.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade infrastructure software, including monitoring and management solutions.
- Support and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, blade enclosures, UPS systems, patch panels, tape libraries, and cabling.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
- Plan, test, and execute system upgrades and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of ICT systems by adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and operational records.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support infrastructure projects, enhancements, and service improvements.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience for the Medior role and 6 years for the Senior role.
- Strong knowledge of data center hardware infrastructure and operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong knowledge of network storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, NetApp, and EMC solutions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data center activities, including hardware installation, racking, cabling, and connectivity.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Certifications: Any of the following certifications would be considered an advantage:
- SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) / Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) – Windows Server 2012 or later
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher
- Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1) or higher
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Oracle Linux
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Cloud Management and Automation or higher
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)
- Dell Certified Systems Administrator (DCS-SA) / Dell Certified Platform Engineer (DCS-PE)
- Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS)
