Joining us as a Junior Software Developer & IT Consultant at Netcompany, you won't just be writing code—you'll be shaping solutions, advising clients, and driving the digital transformation that impacts millions of people across Europe. You will become part of a highly skilled, agile team delivering large-scale IT projects for major public and private sector organizations. This is your opportunity to combine hands-on development with client-facing advisory work, growing into a trusted technology advisor on an international stage.

Based in Athens, you will work on international projects, contributing to some of Denmark's most complex IT initiatives while building your career. Your daily responsibilities will involve software development, client collaboration, and task management, preparing you for a future in one of our specialties: backend, frontend, full-stack, or DevOps engineering.

As a Junior Software Developer & IT Consultant you will:

• Contribute to all phases of full-cycle IT projects—from requirements analysis and solution design to development, UAT support, and user training.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using modern technologies (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, Spring Boot, React, Angular).
• Work across both backend and frontend layers, as well as integration points within complex enterprise systems, including CRM/CX solutions.
• Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions, acting as a business advisor to clients.
• Create long-term relationships with clients and identify business development opportunities.
• Lead sub-streams of work, conduct daily stand-ups, and report progress to clients or project managers.
• Produce clear technical and functional documentation and participate in peer code reviews.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• A recent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the confidence to interact with clients and stakeholders.
• A customer-oriented mindset and genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional and international environments.
• A proactive attitude, ownership mentality, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Availability to travel when required.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Familiarity with at least one programming language like Java or C#.
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, or JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Understanding of database concepts (SQL) and experience with source control tools (e.g., Git).
