Ever wondered what it feels like to be a Lead Data Warehouse Engineer in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Joining us as a Lead Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be a highly skilled and motivated professional with extensive experience in data integration, ETL processes, and SQL development. The ideal candidate will excel at leading teams and managing complex data integration projects while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across various systems. You will have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and be adept at working with on-premises data warehouse systems.

As a Lead Data Warehouse Engineer you will:

• Lead the integration of various data sources into the “on-premises” data warehouse system.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor data flows and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless data operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of ETL developers and data engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure data consistency and reliability across different systems.
• Manage multiple data integration projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of ETL processes, data flows, ER models of new and existing projects
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
• Communication and collaboration with the business stakeholders for the validation of the functional and non-functional requirements 

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or a similar role.
• Proficient in working with IBM DB2 for iSeries and other relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.).
• Strong experience with SQL and stored procedures.
• Expertise in data modeling and designing data warehouse solutions.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with data analysis and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of MS Azure basics and willingness to be involved in related implementations (e.g. Databricks, Azure Data Factory etc.) 

It would also be a plus if you had :

• Any relevant experience on the Banking Sector will be considered as a plus
