A day in the life of a Digital Writer

Due to the recent expansion of our client portfolio, we are looking to expand our Content Team with a Digital Writer. Reporting to the Content Team Leader, you will produce digital content ranging from articles and web static content to blogs, scripts and feature stories.

Your main duties will be to:

• Conduct research and interviews to develop original and insightful stories
• Write engaging news and feature stories for websites, email newsletters, brochures, informative infographics, flyers and other digital promotional material
• Craft compelling storytelling
• Edit and proofread written and multimedia content for accuracy, style and tone
• Perform comprehensive content analysis, assessing various digital assets such as articles, web pages and other forms of digital content
• Produce scripts for videos to be utilized on digital channels
• Treat podcasts
• Perform SEO optimization from the content side of it
• Collaborate with team members to develop and execute editorial strategies that align with assignments

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a digital content creator, with a focus on news and features
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proven experience in creating digital content
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Native English or native level proficiency
• A portfolio of past editorial work
