We are looking for a Cloud Asset Consultant who will be working for one of our client, an EU institution based in Brussels. 

Your main duties will be the following:

• Enhancing the support of the Institution's services tasked with providing negotiation services for Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs) and the amendments thereof, by supporting coordinating with internal (data protection, IT security, digital accessibility, AI governance and legal teams and the internal client) and external stakeholders (the Supplier/ISV) the negotiation of assigned files. 

• Working directly, in an independent and collaborative manner, with the responsible official and other officials and consultants of the service, on the achievement of the ELA negotiation objectives.

• Enhancing the capacities of the team, supporting the work of the senior consultant already providing services to the team.

• Follow up of developments in Cloud and hybrid licensing.

• Creation and maintenance of license and SaaS contract entries in the Software Asset Management (SAM) system.

Qualifications

If you have:

• Bachelor degree plus 5 years of similar experience/cloud-related experience or Masters degree plus 3 years of similar experience/cloud-related experience
• Experience in software Asset Management (SAM)
• Background in IT, economics or law 
• Experience in negotiation of contract, project implementation
• ITIL V4 Foundation Certified or willing to obtain this certification
• Ability to draft policies and procedures in IT

Language and communication skills

• Excellent comprehension and expression (written and oral) in English
• Knowledge of French is an asset
• Ability to draft comprehensive analysis documents in the IT domain, to prepare and revise policy and procedure documents related to software and to prepare technical reports Organizational skills
• Presentation skills for a technical audience
• Animate/Lead a meeting
• Multitasking and project oriented
• Proactive approach to one’s duties - alerting superiors of issues and proposing solutions
