We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to work for an EU institution based in Latvia. You will be joining a highly skilled team that is working on the adaptation and implementation of new applications/systems, and the upgrade/maintenance of existing systems.

If you have: 

• University Degree in Computer Science or another relevant field.
• Around 10 years of experience in IT. 
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology. 
• Fluency in Latvian and English.
• Experience with:

1. Back-End ​​​​​​
   • Java11 / J2EE
   • Springboot
   • Microservices architecture
   • JPA
   • GIT
   • No-SQL databases and SQL databases
2. Front-End
   • Knowledge of React
   • Knowledge of Typescript
3. Blockchain
   • Kubernetes
   • Network knowledge (load balancing, subnets, certificates, DNS)

Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to integrate into an international/multicultural environment
• Quick learning ability in fast-changing technologies
