We are currently looking for a Customs Project Manager to join our team in Vienna! The project distinguishes between a development phase, an integration phase, and an operating phase​​​​​.

Your main duties will be:

• Management of the project to achieve the project outcomes and procedure objectives (time, cost, quality)
• Economical and sustainable use of resources
• Leadership of the reporting system and provision of comprehensive, regular and situational information to project steering so that its steering and decision-making tasks can be performed.
• Leadership of stakeholder management and assurance of the involvement of eligible stakeholders
• Management of quality and risk management
• Timely involvement of the responsible controlling and compliance bodies to ensure that their legitimate requirements are met
• Adherence to the methods, practices and tools to be used in the project
• Performance of procurement in accordance with the requirements
• Execution of decision-making tasks

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of IT-related total experience
• More than 5 years of professional experience as a project or program manager in connection with the development of software solutions.​
• Alternatively, more than 5 years of professional experience as an operations manager in connection with the operation of software solutions.​
• German & English language skills, spoken and written, at least at level "C1" of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages".​
• Relevant theoretical and practical experience in the use of modern program/software project management methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, hybrid models, etc.) and project management tools.​

Good to have:

• Experience in customs with focus on import, transit and export processes within the context of the EU
• Successful participation as a key person for a period of at least six months in a customs project related to:

1. A software solution that is used to implement an electronic customs system for the exchange of data and other relevant information contained in customs declarations
2. A Software solution to meet the requirements of at least one of the following:

• VAT e-commerce,​
• Import Control System 2 (ICS2),​
• Guarantee Management (GUM)​
• Central customs clearance for imports (CCI)​
• Automated Export System (AES for short)​ or similar
