Job Description

A day in the life of an Application Support Agent: You will be responsible for the support of the in-house Human Resource Management Information System, which is a multilingual online management tool, designed to cover a broad range of HR processes such as Career Management, Organisation charts, Rights and obligations & Time management. The application is made of many different modules and sub-modules, driven by HR processes to manage past, present, and future employee data, automate tasks and ensure compliance with staff regulations.

Your main duties will be:

  • Act as the first contact point for all end-users related questions on the medical platform
  • Categorise, prioritise and dispatch the end-users requests 
  • Ensure the follow-up of incidents and escalate the tickets to the relevant stakeholder according to the escalation process.
  • Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices; handling and documenting all requests
  • Keep the internal knowledge up to date by documenting all relevant information
  • You may also be requested to provide trainings and conduct webinars on the use of medical platform.  

Qualifications

If you have

  • Minimum qualifications: 
    •    3 years of experience in application support, information technology (IT) operations or another IT related support area
    •    Previous experience in teaching or coaching, online and/or in person 
    Preferred qualifications:
    •    Strong analytical, problem solving and learning skills
    •    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, any additional language is a plus
    •    Excellent presentation and customer service skills
    •    Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment 
    •    Proven knowledge of support ticketing system processes (SMT, Snow, other)
    •    Knowledge of MS Office Suite 
    •    Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus
