A day in the life of an Application Architect 

As an Application Architect, you will be part of high performing and cross-functional team responsible for the design and maintenance of effective technical solutions. The role includes designing of applications and products for our clients, architecture comprising several components using the latest tools, technologies and frameworks. You will be working with existing and future clients to understand their challenges, explore and propose effective solutions and develop long-term trusted relationships. 

Your main duties will be to: 

• Contribute to the cloud strategy and the migration to Azure cloud services
• Review and streamline DevOps towards DevSecOps & cloud services in strong collaboration with the infrastructure and development teams
• Draw up an architecture by defining the components which are best suited to the functional and technological constraints
• Implement the proposed architecture as blue-print (mainly .NET)
• Impact analysis: measure the impact of technical requirements on the existing system and suggest priorities
• Component modelling
• Transfer of knowledge to the development team
• Monitoring developments and ensure that the implementations are secure & properly documented
• Integrate third-party solution with a system/an application.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

If you have:

• Master's 8+ years of experience or Bachelor's 12+ years of experience
• Experience in modernization tracks migrating on-premise portfolio to Azure cloud services
• Experience in transforming teams towards cloud-native developments
• Enterprise Architecture skills 
• Experience in defining IT architecture on various projects (client and server)
• Experience with server and client-based libraries and technologies relating to .NET, Angular, Oracle DB, scripting languages, etc. 
• Genuine experience of middleware development and of its related issues
• Implement various architectural paradigms
• Experience with Java, Spring, SharePoint, PowerApps will be an asset 
• Up-to-date technological knowledge
• MDA modelling
• Professional experience:
• Experience in configuring and deploying enterprise applications on Azure cloud 
• Experience in development on various projects covering topics listed in "Technical Expertise"
• Experience in Technical Architecture definition
• Experience in integration of a system/an application with third-party Solution.
• Good knowledge of English (min B2 level)

It would be nice to have:

• Good knowledge of French will be an asset
• Very good analytical skills and ability to see the overall picture
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to participate in multilingual and multicultural meetings
• Ability to work independently as well as in team, through a methodological approach
• Ability to cope with changing technologies and environments
