Job Description

Netatmo is rapidly growing and to manage our growth, we are looking for an  Electronic Industrialization Engineer. 

As a member of the Industrialization team, you will manage the introduction of new products in our Electronic Manufacturing Suppliers mainly located in Asia.

To do so, you will play a central role between the suppliers and the project teams, and will work with multiple departments inside Netatmo.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participate with the hardware and purchasing teams in the selection of suppliers
  • Conduct product manufacturability and testability analysis during the concurrent engineering phase
  • Specify the assembly and test process, from electronic boards to finished products
  • Validate with the test team the production test software developed in-house
  • Train our subcontractors in the assembly and test process, and qualify the process
  • Manage the pre-series, analyze the problems encountered and implement corrective actions to achieve the quality objectives
  • Lead improvement actions to optimize assembly and test time
  • Ensure that the production line capacity is in line with the delivery plan requirements

In this role, you will work in close collaboration with our Electrical Development, Mechanical and Embedded Software engineers. 

Frequent trips to Asia are to be expected. 

Qualifications

As an Engineering or Masters' degree holder, you will demonstrate relevant professional experience (minimum 2 years) in the conception or industrialization of electronics products in manufacturing industry (consumer electronics, automobile, medical, aeronautics).

Knowledge in test bench development for electronic boards is a plus. 

You are autonomous, organized, ability to adapt easily, a source of proposals and you are an excellent team player.

Fluent English is required and an Intermediate French also required. Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
