Job Description

We are looking for a QA python & Java automation intern who will participate in the automation environment. The testing environment is composed of specific hardware, Python and Java automation framework.

You will integrate the QA Test team whose scope is to test all parts of the connected objects : mobile applications, cloud services and embedded systems.

Your role as QA automation intern will be to integrate new hardware into the python framework, develop new automated test cases and stabilize the test environment.

Automated tests are used to assess the quality of a candidate release firmware.

You will work closely with embedded developers and the hardware team.

Your missions will be as follows:

  • Document and validate the new hardware of an instrumented device under test
  • Integrate the new hardware into python test framework
  • Write and execute the automated test scripts
  • Maintain and improve the python and java test framework
  • Track deliveries and assess the quality of each firmware release

You have excellent analysis and debugging skills and you value testing a complex system.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent in embedded systems or computer science.

A first experience in embedded development and python scripting.

Debugging methodology especially with hardware.

You have excellent communication skills and you want to contribute to the delivery of high-quality products.

Starting date : September 2022
