Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Director based in France, you will be responsible for growing our business and driving our sales in UK & Ireland.

You will need to improve the distribution of Netatmo products, to accelerate the development of our sales in the region.

In accordance with our European Sales Policy, you will select the best distribution networks and manage all existing and future commercial relationships.

Working closely with the Channel Marketing Manager for the region, you will manage the presentation of our products in the different retail stores to ensure maximum visibility and impact, and organize any promotional events / demonstrations.

You will be home based in the UK. Travel in the UK & Ireland is essential to meet with customers and distributors. You'll also be invited to meet the team in Netatmo’s HQ in Paris (every 3 months on average). 

Qualifications

·       Consumer Electronics/Consumer Products sales background

·       Business development AND mutli-channel distribution account management experience within the consumer electronic retail and e-tail markets is essential (John Lewis, Argos,…).

·       Existing relationships with relevant retailers and professional networks (CEFCO, ERF, …)

·       Experience within Smart Home product sales and DIY (Screwfix,…) and professional installer market knowledge is desirable.

·       Fluency in English is necessary.

You will need to maintain and build upon our existing relationships through distributors into current sales channels (retailers, etailers, electronics shops, DIY stores, department stores, mass merchants, Apple specialists…) and expand the market for Netatmo’s products in this region.

To achieve the growth that we are looking for, it is also essential that we enter into new distribution channels. You will be able to use your existing personal relationships to open doors, push negotiations and generate new business.

Managing the entire portfolio within your market, your experience and knowledge in this field will allow you to implement innovative sales activities to ensure maximum visibility and impact, both for new product launches and our existing range. 

This position requires a self-starter, hands-on person who is creative, resourceful and able to act quickly.
