Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP Sales, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our retail channels in the region. 

We currently have a strong field sales team present in these markets, which you will manage and work with to find and implement new ideas and sales techniques.

You must build and maintain stable and sustainable relationships with defined retail customers.

You will manage key and executive level relationships across all channels to gain understanding of our partners' overall business plans and growth initiatives.

Working with our retail accounts, you will monitor and constantly improve the availability and the merchandising of Netatmo’s products, both online and offline.

Your primary goal is to increase our sell in and sell thru of Smart Home products and create much higher levels of visibility, in-store staff training and consumer penetration within all our current and future accounts.

You will collaborate with our existing and potential customers to identify opportunities, implement sales promotions and develop tactics to drive new and existing product sales both in-store and on-line.

It is important that you have a good awareness of the market and competition.

By setting clear targets you will be able to monitor whether you achieve them and identify how to improve in the future. You will have to forecast your actions and analyse their impacts and the ROI (Return on Investment).

Qualifications

-          A university or business school graduate, you have at least 5 years’ experience in key account management in the German retail consumer electronics environment (MSD, Euronics, Expert, EP).

-          You have native level German, and fluent English would be a bonus.

-          Assertive and analytical, you are good at forecasting and planning and your hands on mentality gives you a clear focus on finding solutions.

-          Your strong interpersonal and communication skills and enthusiastic nature make you an excellent team player and a good networker.

-          You are comfortable operating with broad autonomy to make quick decisions and you are able to solve complex problems which may require unique solutions.

-          Driving license.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. As a home based position, this exciting role requires a lot of travel. You will be constantly visiting stores to meet our clients and check on our products. You will also spend several days per month working at Parisian headquarters.
