Job Description

Reporting to the Lead Marketing Product Manager (for new product introductions), you will have an empowering position in a stimulating and friendly work environment.

In charge of bringing new products to the market, this job will require you to have lots of innovative ideas.

As part of an international team, you will collaborate closely with the digital, web, marketing and communication teams to help drive the product launch, before the go-to-market.

Your responsibilities:

  • As a product owner for a new product to be launched, you will work closely with engineers to follow each step of the product development
  • Use market research and other tools for analysis to fully understand the buyer persona, competition and trends around the product
  • Create the communication around the product, this includes developing the product’s positioning (who will it sell to), core benefits (why would someone want to buy it), messaging, visual identity and pricing
  • Develop go-to-market strategies:  define how the product will be launched, in close cooperation with all teams involved (e.g. PR, social media, etc.)
  • Create marketing content for the product launch: product videos, photo shootings, website content, brochures, sales enablement support, product packaging
  • Ensure a smooth and successful product launch. You will also be meeting with journalists to pitch the product to major media during its launch and attend major trade shows such as IFA or CES

Qualifications

Graduated from a business school or equivalent, you have  minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, ideally in an international context and an experience in consumer electronics or the smart home market is a bonus.

Excellent editorial quality and very good oral communication skills are essential for this position.
You like working in a team; and  you are motivated and looking to invest yourself and undertake responsibilities
You are creative, analytical, you pay particular attention to details and you have a strong sense of organisation

A fluent English is essential and a second foreign language is a plus
