As Technical Operations Manager, you will be an integral part of NetSteady's continued growth. It is our hope that by the end of the first few months, this position will oversee and/or perform the majority of project management and network administration duties across the enterprise. This is a perfect role for someone with comprehensive technical management experience.

Job Description

The responsibilities of the Technical Operations Manager are as follows:

  • Act as the service manager to coordinate the design, installation, and repair of networks through the use of staff members and contractors 
  • Evaluate customer requirements and estimate resources needed to completely deliver solutions.
  • Create and maintain network design documents in a customer-friendly and easily readable format.
  • Perform system audits; notifying management of unexpected discrepancies
  • Perform network analysis, and take corrective actions in accordance with company policy
  • Prioritize the troubleshooting process and properly manage time sensitive tasks
  • Exemplify a working knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Perform rotating on-call duties
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The desired qualifications of the Technical Operations Manager are as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree, industry certificates, or commensurate education and experience  
  • Experience in management or project management desired
  • Experience in large network (100+ devices) management preferred
  • Experience with enterprise-grade networking required
  • Experience with wireless network design and deployment required 
  • Ability and willingness to partake in competency assessments to affirm technical expertise will be required
  • Fluent in English with an ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical customers required
  • US Citizenship is required, no visa sponsorships will be considered
  • Ability to travel within the United States and Canada required
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test required
