Sr. Customer Service Associate

Job Description

The Sr. Customer Service Associate is responsible for ensuring all customer needs and expectations are met. They are expected to manage orders throughout each day by working with Planners, Demand Management, and the distribution centers to make sure orders ship per customer requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare orders for customers daily while answering requests via the telephone and email.
  • Understand SAPs advanced features and be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Look for ways to improve Customer Care processes. Drive initiation and follow through to implementation.
  • Work on assignments that are more complex in nature requiring judgment and initiative to be applied.

Qualifications

Some of those things include:  

  • Managing offsite inventory
  • Planning/managing orders required for production lines
  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers
  • Perform manual shipping/invoicing transactions within SAP
  • Understanding and enforcing software license agreements as well as enforcing legal restrictions.

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related customer service experience
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

 

Additional Qualifications:  

  • BS in Business, or related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of SAP experience preferred
