Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Administer Nemera’s leave of absences including but not limited to FMLA, ADA leaves, bereavement, parental leave, jury duty, etc. with support from the HR Business Partners.

  • Support employees and leaders with HR related questions 

  • Maintain employee and position data within the HR systems (i.e. HCM, UKG, etc.) 

  • Filing and maintaining all personnel files 

  • Complete employment verifications for all current and former employees 

  • Maintain employee communications, Net Presenter, Atlas, and HR bulletin boards 

  • Coordinate special events for Safety Day, Holiday Luncheons, etc. 

  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with interviews, job fairs and other administrative needs.

  • Assist with maintaining training records in the LMS system 

  • Assist with benefits open enrollment 

  • Enter purchase requisitions and receive services for HR in the SAP system 

  • Act as back-up for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Office Administrator positions 

  • Other duties as may be assigned to support the HR Team and/or BG plant.. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

  • HS Diploma or GED required 

  • Associates degree in Human Resources or related discipline strongly preferred 

  • 2 or more years’ experience in Human Resources, administration, customer service, or sales required 

 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work 

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Works in an office and manufacturing environment with moderate noise level. Must don PPE when entering warehouse and manufacturing areas 

  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs 

  •  Need to travel to external vendors and/or trainings (occasionally) and between Nemera’s buildings (frequently) 

  •  Fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions
