Job Description

The Media Buyer (Lead Generation) specializes in developing and implementing targeted paid social media strategies focused on lead generation and performance metrics within the Canadian market. This role demands a keen focus on driving sales and conversions through meticulously crafted campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance and ROI. The manager will ensure content and campaigns are tailored for effectiveness across Canada, specifically designed to generate leads, drive conversions, and meet specific performance objectives rather than focusing on branding or awareness.

Duties & Responsibility

  • Lead Generation Focused Strategies: Devise and execute paid social media strategies with a primary focus on lead generation, conversion optimization, and achieving high-performance metrics.
  • Performance Driven Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of ad campaigns, rigorously focusing on performance indicators such as CPA, CPL, and ROI, ensuring content is optimized for the Canadian market.
  • Data-Driven Analytics and Reporting: Utilize advanced analytics to monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance with an emphasis on lead generation metrics, making data-informed decisions to continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Budget Allocation for Performance: manage budgets for social media advertising, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to reach bilingual audiences.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with brand, compliance and other teams to create marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with overall business objectives and comply with Canadian regulations.
  • Market and Competitive Research: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the Canadian digital landscapes, focusing on trends and tactics that drive lead generation and conversion optimization.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field, with a strong preference for specialization in digital marketing or performance marketing. (Or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record in paid social media marketing with a clear focus on lead generation, performance marketing, and conversion optimization, specifically within the Canadian market.
  • Expertise in utilizing social media platforms (TikTok, Meta, etc.), and digital advertising tools to drive leads and sales, with a strong focus on performance analytics and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication skills suited for creating compelling, conversion-focused content.
  • Advanced skills in analytics and performance measurement, with a proficiency in tools and techniques for tracking lead generation and conversion metrics.
  • Strategic thinking with a performance and ROI-driven mindset, capable of translating data insights into actionable lead generation strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple performance-focused campaigns simultaneously.
