Job Description
Create compelling content across three strategic levels:
- Company wide brand positioning
- Vertical (AECO, Insurance, Government) campaigns—that drives engagement and supports business growth, measured in meetings set and pipeline built. Focus largely on insurance.
- Horizontal (industry-agnostic) messaging supporting our competitive advantage.
Working across multiple formats (written, video, social, presentations. Long and short form) and channels (owned, earned, paid), this role supports the execution of Growth Marketing plans to deliver content that builds leadership while generating demand.

Key Responsibilities
Content creation
- Proactive design of content and storytelling supporting business objectives and messaging heirachy
- Creative campaign ideation with Design and response to brief
- Develop industry-specific campaign content to meet desired objective
- Create demand generation assets including landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, and banner ads
- Draft scripts for feature videos and build presentations for webinars
- Produce nurture email sequences that move prospects through the buyer journey
AI Integration & Content Production
- Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate content ideation, research, and first draft creation while maintaining brand voice and quality standards
- Critically evaluate and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with messaging frameworks and brand voice
- Stay current on emerging AI content tools and recommend adoption strategies that enhance team productivity
- Establish quality control processes for AI-assisted content, including fact checking, brand consistency checks, and SEO optimisation
Research and strategy
- Research industry trends, challenges, and emerging topics relevant Insurance, Government and AECO
- Monitor competitor content and identify opportunities for differentiation Stay current with SEO best practices and collaborate with SEO agency to optimize content performance
Performance and optimisation
- Evaluate content analytics to measure engagement and effectiveness
- Adjust content strategy based on performance insights
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, brand voice and editorial standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality content on tight deadlines
Qualifications
Experience
- 6-7+ years of writing experience, in either B2C or B2B marketing, preferably in technology companies
- Experience working within the government, insurance, AECO or within a customer marketing/experience role
- Project Management experience, experience managing internal & external creative resources, including writers, designers, and video producers.
Skills
- Able to work autonomously to craft high-quality content
- Highly organised. Key to success in this role with be the ability to effectively manage time and multiple streams of work and communicate clearly with stakeholders on deliverables
- Passion for telling a great story. The Senior Content Writer will an important part of the marketing process, responsible for delivering the brand message and leadership globally
- Advanced research capabilities for full understanding and depth of content deliverable across a range of industries and technologies
- Knowledge of various marketing analytics, content management, and generative AI tools such as Google Analytics, Claude.ai and ChatGPT
- SEO knowledge
- Working to briefs, writing briefs, working with agencies

- Keen creative intelligence combined with an analytical mindset. In addition to originating creative concepts, content creation, and creative strategy, there’s always an awareness of how content performance is driving audience behaviour
- Ability to translate technical products for many different industry audiences and users of different levels of technical proficiency. Ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it
- Enthusiasm to engage in both strategic and tactical work as business needs dictate
- Agility, responsiveness, and humour.
