What: Technical Writer

Where: Redmond, WA

Contract: 18 months (possible extension)

Strong, versatile technical writer who is passionate about technology and video games to work on documentation targeted around our many processes of game development.

Your primary responsibility will be documenting the tools and pipelines for our game development team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical content to the team in written form, video tutorials and any other formats as needed. In this role you will create a common look and feel for all documentation regarding our game development processes as well as best practices across multiple topics.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• B.A/B.S Degree in Computer Science, Computer Art, Technical Communications or similar field is preferred
• We require writing samples that demonstrates clarity, accuracy, conciseness, and the ability to write for technical audiences
• Comfortable in reading XML, C#, Python is strongly deisred
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
• 1-3 years of experience in creating software documentation for a technical audience
• Experience with existing documentation software (i.e. SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
