Job Description
The Senior Manager is responsible for the following duties:
1) promoting academic and professional programs by coordinating the School’s marketing and social media activities;
2) developing and implementing an effective marketing strategy to promote the School;
3) Assisting in the implementation of the School’s and the University’s operational plan within the scope of their functional responsibilities;
4) preparing and monitoring the semi-annual and annual marketing budgets;
5) promoting the achievements of the School’s faculty (research, teaching, and other significant accomplishments);
6) developing and overseeing promotional materials;
7) establishing strategic relationships and partnerships with representatives from business, industry, government, and universities;
8) preparing analytical reports on the results of marketing campaigns for the Dean and the School’s Administrative Director;
9) organizing and participating in the School’s recruitment campaigns;
10) conducting online marketing, including social media activities and content marketing;
11) developing and maintaining the School’s website, updating its content on an ongoing basis;
12) organizing meetings with prospective students, students from other universities, and high school students to discuss admission requirements, rules, the organization of the academic process, and other student activities at the University;
13) organizing and participating in the organization’s community events, team-building activities, and events held by the School;
Qualifications
Education Higher professional education, preferably from institutions of higher education where instruction is conducted in English.
Preferred fields of study:
- marketing;
- business administration;
- management;
- education.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s legislation in the field of education;
- Knowledge of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s legislation on marketing, its principles, objectives, and methods of marketing research;
- Experience working with representatives of different cultures;
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations;
- Experience drafting press releases;
- Knowledge of project management and budgeting;
- Fluency in the national language, Russian, and English (spoken and written skills);
- Advanced proficiency in computers and office software suites
