Job Description
Senior manager is imposed with the following functions:
1) preparation budgetary applications of the School for the corresponding fiscal year and for the medium term;
2) assisting the Head of the School in monitoring the timely and targeted execution of the School’s budget for the corresponding financial year;
3) input of data of the approved budget of the School, budget adjustments, and mid-term budget requests of the School in 1C Enterprise, as well as the formation of budget reports;
4) preparation of references, information, and analytical materials for summary reports, and presentations for the management of the School;
5) consideration and approval of draft agreements and other documents of the School within his/her competence;
6) preparation of requests for procurement of the School;
7) preparation of other documents and reports in a timely manner within his/her competence;
8) consulting and methodological assistance on issues within the competence of the Senior Manager;
9) participation in identification, evaluation, management, and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;
10) timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Dean, the Head, and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.
Qualifications
Education
Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with the English language of instruction.
Priority specializations:

Work experience
- For a master’s degree, at least 3-year work experience in areas corresponding to the functional areas of a particular position;
- With a bachelor’s or specialist’s degree, work experience in the specialty is at least 5 years in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of a particular position in international and/or national companies.
Professional competencies
- Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education;
- knowledge of the financial legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- skills in preparing and conducting presentations;
- skills in preparing analytical notes;
- skills for effective time management;
- fluency in English, Kazakh, and Russian;
- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
