Core Responsibilities:

• Content Development: Support faculty in creating multimedia materials for online, blended, and face-to-face courses and training events.

• Technical Support: Assist staff with educational hardware and software, and collaborate with the Graphic Instructional Designer on audiovisual productions.

• Resource Management: Oversee audio, video, and ed-tech resources within the University’s Studio and Learning Hub.

• Outreach & Collaboration: Support digital outreach initiatives and lead workshops/webinars to share innovative teaching practices with other Kazakhstani universities.

The required work experience is determined in accordance with standard qualifications for managerial positions in the autonomous organization of education Nazarbayev University:

Background:

• Preferred: Previous experience in education management and/or the use and management of multimedia, audio and video materials for educational applications
• With Master's degree, professional experience should be not less than 1 year in the areas corresponding to functional areas of a specific position;
• or with Specialist or Bachelor degree, work experience should be at least 3 years in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of a given position in the public service, international and/or national companies, or at least 2 years of work experience at the University and/or its organizations.

Technical & Professional Expertise:

• Education Knowledge: Familiarity with Kazakhstani educational legislation and modern instructional design/pedagogy.

• Multimedia Production: Hands-on experience with audio/video hardware (cameras, recording) and data management.

• Software Proficiency: Advanced computer literacy across PC and macOS, including MS Office and specialized audio/video editing applications.

Communication & Delivery:

• Instructional Ability: Competence in delivering presentations, workshops, and webinars.

• Digital Fluency: Practical knowledge of digital education tools and online learning environments.
