Job Description

  • dissemination of internal and external messages of the Department to increase awareness of stakeholders about the activities, initiatives and services of the Department, notification of new initiatives/events to create a positive image of the Department and the University, effective information and promotion of the Department, its mission, value proposition, brand, employees and services;
  • analysis of the effectiveness of communication channels, development and implementation of a communication strategy that most effectively contributes to the implementation of the operational plan and the tasks of the Department;
  • preparation and verification of reports/issues related to communication channels;
  • development of written materials, preparation of presentations for an external audience, assistance in preparing the annual report/presentation of the Department for presentation to internal/external stakeholders;
  • development of printed materials produced by the Department, as well as the application of marketing strategies to promote the Department on campus and among internal/external stakeholders, ensuring high quality content and printing;
  • management of electronic resources (Web page on the University's website, a student portal, etc.) and social networks of the Department, translation of materials posted on the Department's websites into Kazakh, Russian and English, launch of targeted advertising;
  • development of content for distribution through social networks, websites, newsletters, press releases and other distribution channels;
  • work with the internal and external audience of the University to collect the necessary materials for the electronic resources of the Department, publications and social networks;
  • creation and development of printed and online content, the use of electronic marketing, photo and video shooting from the events of the Department and the University;
  • development of contracts and agreements within the framework of ongoing events, preparation and submission of reports, invoices, acts of services rendered and other related documents;
  • planning and conducting integrated marketing campaigns;
  • conducting interviews, preparing materials for publications;
  • preparation of reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;  
  • working with social networks, preparing text and visual content;
  • accounting and tracking the execution of protocol instructions given by theUniversity management to the Department on issues within his/her competence, as well as subsequent preparation of reports on their execution for the Head;
  • providing consulting and methodological assistance to employees of the Department on issues within his/her competence;
  • organization of events for the creation and strengthening of the Department’s team;
  • participation in events organized to attract students;
  • preparation of analytical data and reports on issues within his/her competence;
  • timely and high-quality execution of other instructions from the Head and management of the University within the framework of their official duties and powers

Qualifications

Education

Higher professional education, preferably in higher educational institutions with English language of instruction and medium of assessment.

Priority areas of majors:

social sciences and humanities, including, but not limited to:

  • Higher Education Administration;
  • Linguistics;
  • Marketing and Public Relations

Work experience

At least three years.

At least 1 year with a master's degree in the relevant field

Additional Information

  • Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education;

  • fluency in English, Kazakh, Russian languages

This position is offered as a one-year employment contract, with the possibility of renewal/extension
