Job Description

The Research Manager, in collaboration with the Centre Director and Senior Research Manager, is responsible for:

  • providing administrative support for the implementation of research projects conducted in the Centre;

  • assisting with the grant application and awarding processes;

  • managing documentation and reporting processes;

  • assisting with the development of Centre policies and procedures;

  • liaising with other staff;

  • representing the Centre to external parties;

  • other duties as required.

Qualifications

Work experience / Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum three years of experience in education, research management or related field

Professional competencies

  • Fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of an intercultural team;

  • Ability to take initiative and liaise with a wide range of people;

  • Ability to represent the Centre professionally to diverse audiences;

  • Commitment and integrity.
