Job Description
The School of Engineering and Digital Sciences of Nazarbayev University invites applications for an Open Rank Faculty Position, Assistant Professor and above, for outstanding candidate to join the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Candidates must possess an earned PhD degree in aerospace engineering from a reputable university. Candidates must, during their prior career, have demonstrated excellence in research, learning and teaching and external engagement. A sustained and successful track record of attaining research or commercial funding and publication in internationally recognised quality journals associated with high Scopus h-index are essential. An ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to collaborate within a team to deliver teaching and research related to broad area of aerospace engineering and propulsion systems. The candidate research interests should complement and augment the department's existing strengths in aerospace propulsion, flight mechanics, and aeroelasticity. Excellent communication skills and English fluency are required.

Qualifications
PhD degree in aerospace engineering from a reputable university with a proven research track record and teaching experience commensurate with appointment rank.
