Job Description

Work with AUDIOVISUAL AND INTERACTIVE EQUIPMENT, A/V Support;

Installation and minor repairs of hardware, software and peripheral equipment;

Regular maintenance of the existing fleet of AUDIOVISUAL AND INTERACTIVE EQUIPMENT to ensure the educational process and support of events;

Keeping records of daily data transmission operations, problems and measures taken to eliminate them, as well as installation work in terms of their competencies;

provision of consulting and methodological assistance on issues within the competence of the Customer  IT  Services Office (IT support of offices/ premises);

Familiarization with technical manuals, consultations with users and diagnostics of audiovisual and interactive equipment to find solutions to problems and provide technical assistance and support.

Qualifications

Education:

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction;

Priority specializations:

- computer science or related fields;

- information technology;

- engineering.

Work experience: minimum one year.

Work experience is not required with a master's degree in

the relevant area.

Professional competencies:

- knowledge of the maintenance of audiovisual and interactive equipment (work may include the installation, configuration and updating of hardware and software, as well as the elimination of any problems associated with equipment in the premises that may occur regularly);

- knowledge of MS Office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of informatization and education;

- knowledge on supervision of computer systems and providing support to system users;

- the skill of customer and personal service;

- telecommunications skill (transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of systems);

- change and project management skills;

- skills in preparing and conducting presentations;

- fluency in English, Kazakh, Russian;

- cooperation skills and customer orientation;

- interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
