General Manager of Marketing Department (Maternity Leave Cover)

Job Description

1)      planning and maintaining the marketing strategy, campaigns and budget working directly with the Line manager;

2)      establishment and implementation of short and long term marketing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures approved by the Line manager;

3)      building marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan;

4)      evaluation of the  effectiveness of campaigns and making the required changes for reaching the goals, and reporting the Line manager;

5)      development and management the annual marketing budgets, regularly monitoring expenditures, preparing summary assessments and reports;

6)      assisting the Line manager in general coordination of the work of the team;

7)      building brand awareness and positioning both locally and internationally;

8)      negotiation and liaising with third-party marketing agencies;

9)      coordination of the marketing efforts of all Schools and University divisions.

Qualifications

Education

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction; Must hold at least a Master degree

Preferred majors: Business administration; Marketing; Public Relations; Communications; Economics or other related areas

Work experience shall comply with one of the following requirements:

- at least seven years of work experience, at least three of them supervising people

- minimum five years with the PhD degree in the relevant area

Additional Information

Knowledge 

-   Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of mass media, education and other legal acts in the area of marketing and PR;

-   proven experience developing marketing plans, campaigns, and budgets;

-   metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity;

-   marketing automation and CRM tools;

-   ability to interpret industry needs and directions, assess capacity, and to plan, develop, and implement appropriate marketing strategies;

-   knowledge of strategic communications and marketing concepts, principles, methodology and techniques;

-   knowledge and understanding current and emerging industry requirements and practices in the area of marketing expertise;

- fluent in Kazakh, English and Russian languages
