Job Description

  1. execution of the accounting of fixed assets and intangible assets of the University; ensuring the accounting of the movement of inventory items;
  2. calculates taxes on time for the area of responsibility;
  3. acceptance, verification and, if necessary, registration of primary documents in the area of responsibility, ensuring their safety and preparation for archiving;
  4. participation in a process of preparation of the financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
  5. participation in the development of methodological and regulatory internal documents in the supervised direction;
  6. timely provides tax, statistical and other reports on the area of responsibility;
  7. organization of conduction and participation in the inventory of assets or of accounts receivable and payable in the area of ​​responsibility in the prescribed manner;
  8. ensuring the interaction with government bodies on issues related to accounting and reporting data;
  9. automation and optimization of the processes within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers;
  10. consideration and, if necessary, amending the contracts, transactions and internal documents of the University within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers;
  11. participation in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the framework of the supervised direction;

Qualifications

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction, not less than a master's degree

Priority areas of specialties: Accounting and audit, Finance, Economy

Work experience - Minimum five years, a minimum of three years with a master's degree in a related field

Additional Information

- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (hereinafter - IFRS) and tax reporting forms;  

- knowledge of 1C, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint

- fluency in English, Kazakh, Russian;

- good understanding of Information Technology in the field of accounting;

- clarifies policies and rules and makes recommendations for their improvement;

- analytical skill;

- uses information from multiple sources to inform line manager of trends and recommend policy or rule changes

- availability of a certificate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) DipIFR /ACCA/CPA;

- availability of a certificate of professional accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK);
