Job Description

The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies in the School of Sciences and Humanities at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan invites applications for a full-time instructor position in Ethics.

The position is available from January 2024 for a three-year period. The standard teaching load for instructors is 4/4. In some cases, a reduction in teaching load may be possible.

Qualifications

Applicants should preferably have a PhD, minimally an MA degree in Philosophy or a related field by the start date and will be expected to demonstrate potential for teaching excellence. The successful candidate will be expected primarily to contribute to a team-taught introductory Ethics course.
