Job Description

The School of Engineering and Digital Sciences of Nazarbayev University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position for outstanding candidate to join the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Candidates must possess an earned PhD degree in aerospace engineering from a reputable university. Candidates must, during their prior career, have demonstrated excellence in research, learning and teaching and external engagement. A sustained and successful track record of attaining research or commercial funding and publication in internationally recognised quality journals associated with high Scopus h-index are essential. An ideal candidate will be willing to work in a team to deliver teaching and research related to broad area of aerospace propulsion systems. The candidate research interests should complement and augment the department's existing strengths in aerospace propulsion, flight mechanics, and aeroelasticity.

Qualifications

PhD degree in aerospace engineering from a reputable university with appropriate experience and a sound research record.
