Job Description

Key and functional tasks:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals;

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) in NU accounts across various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.);

  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews;

  • plan and run digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn), to provide the best experience for prospective students and broader NU community. Collect stats, track budget, analyze and report performance accordingly;

  • promote University’s academic programs, research and other important achievements using digital marketing tools;

  • create landing pages if necessary;

  • collaborate with other teams, like website, PR, etc. to ensure brand consistency;

  • cooperation, consultation and support of NU Schools and structural units in the implementation of social media and digital advertising campaigns;

  • suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions;

  • stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience with social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.;
  • Proven experience in running digital advertising campaigns in Google Ads, Facebook Ads and LinkedIn;
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Yandex Metrics, keyword research;
  • Hands-on experience in content creation and management, ability to deliver creative content;
  • Excellent copywriting skills;
  • Fluent oral and written skills in English, Kazakh and Russian
  • Ability to work in teams;
  • Strong creative skills;
  • Comfortable with working autonomously with little direction and under tight deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages;
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript is a benefit;
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and email marketing is a benefit.

Additional Information

Relevant work experience:

Three years min.
Minimum one year with master`s degree in the relevant area

Higher-professional education, preferably from higher education institutions with English language of instruction

Priority majors: marketing, communications, IT and/or related fields.
