Job Description

The Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:
1)     preparation and execution of documents on issues within the competence of the School;
2)    interaction and correspondence with academic and administrative staff on issues within the competence of the School;
3)    development, improvement and timely updating of job descriptions of School administrative staff;
4)    inclusion of school employees in the voluntary health insurance program in case of illness; 
5)    development and management of decisions on the main activities of the School within its competence; 
6)    maintaining a database in the 1C system, carrying out its timely updating and replenishment;
7)    collection and preparation of reports and statistics in the field of personnel management, at the request of structural divisions;
8)    preparation of analytical materials, presentations, information on individual tasks, instructions of the line manager within the competence of the School;
9)    preparation and registration of employment contracts;
10) preparation and registration of employment letters;
11) registration of labor, social and other leaves of the employees of the School; keeping records of leaves of the employees of the School, control over preparation and observance of schedules of regular leaves;
12) taking part in adaptation work of newly hired employees, in organization and registration of workplace and documents of newly hired employees, including assistance to teaching staff in matters of Social Policy of the University;
13) administering the promotion and renewal of contracts with faculty; organizing and participating in the procedures for renewing employment contracts with academic staff of the School;
14) preparing a monthly timesheet;
15)    participation in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the supervised direction; 
16)    performs duties (replaces) of the HR Manager of the School or the Operational Manager of the School during his/her temporary absence (for up to one month);
17)    performs tasks of the line manager, General Manager and University management in a timely and appropriate manner;
18)    complies with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal documents of the University;
19)    responsible for compliance with labor and service discipline;
20)    responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, as well as preventing the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as restricted access information in accordance with the legislation, the Charter and internal documents of the Employer;
21)    in case of dismissal, responsible for the timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee at the direction of the line manager (according to the act of acceptance and transfer).
 

Qualifications

Education     

Higher professional education, preferably in higher educational institutions with English language of instruction;
Priority areas of specialties:
- human resource management;
- law;
- finance;
- management;
- public administration;
- psychology;
- related specialties in the field of humanities
Work experience    

With a Bachelor's degree / Specialist - at least three years;
At least 1 year with a master's degree in the relevant field.


Knowledge
- Knowledge of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint programs.
