NUGSB has a small but growing research-oriented faculty and is in strategic partnership with
Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Duke’s Fuqua School of Business is actively
involved in recruiting and mentoring/supporting NUGSB faculty in research and teaching

NUGSB faculty received their PhDs from leading academic institutions around the globe
such as Cornell University, INSEAD, London School of Economics, Purdue University,
Stanford University, University of Illinois, and University of Michigan.
Located in Astana, Kazakhstan, NUGSB is a new Western-style, English-language, research-
oriented business school, ranked in the top 5 research oriented business schools in Central
Asia. NUGSB offers its faculty generous research time, efficient teaching load, and
