Company Description

Job Description

1)       conveys the Division’s internal and external messages to increase awareness of the stakeholders about the Division’s activities, initiatives and services, announces new initiatives/events to build a positive image of the Division and the University, effectively informs and promotes the Division, its mission, its value proposition, its brand, its people, and its services;

2)        analyses communication channels efficiency, develops communication strategy that best supports the Division’s Operational Plan;

3)       generates and validates reports/surveys related to communication channels;

4)       drafts written materials, prepares presentations for external audience, assists in the preparation of an annual Division’s report/presentation to be presented to internal/external stakeholders;

5)       develops print materials issued by the Division and applies branding strategies to promote the Division on campus and among internal/external stakeholders, ensures high quality of both content and printing;

6)       manages the Division’s websites and multiple social media channels, translates the materials posted on the Division’s websites into Kazakh, Russian, and English;

7)       develops content to be disseminated via social media, websites, newsletters, LibGuide, press releases and other distribution channels;

8)       reaches target people to collect necessary inputs for the Division’s websites, publications and social media;

9)       creates and develops print and online advertising, does email marketing, takes photos and videos from the Division’s events;

10)  collects the learning needs and makes an analysis of learning needs of the other Kazakhstani universities for the purpose of experience sharing in the field of career services to students, participates at development and implementation of the Experience Sharing Program of the Division of the University;

11)  assists with development of methodical and training materials, and production of webinars within the Experience Sharing Program;

12)  coordinates events and activities of the Experience Sharing Program, analyses and evaluates the program effectiveness;

13)  develops, deploys and analyses customer satisfaction surveys related to the Experience Sharing Program;

14)  generates and validates reports on the Experience Sharing Program;

15)  participates in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;

16)  temporary performs the duties (replaces) of the responsible staff during his/her temporary absence (up to one month);

17)  timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management;

18)  observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employer`s internal documents;

19)  is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline;

Qualifications

Higher education preferably with English as a main language of instruction.

Priority specializations:

-       Human resources management;

-       Psychology (career counseling);

-       Business administration;

Related fields.

The required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev University”, as follows:

-       for a Master’s degree holder, at least 1 year of work experience related to the specified duties and responsibilities;

-        for a Bachelor’s or a Specialist’s degree holder, at least 3 years of work experience related to the specified duties and responsibilities obtained at national and/or international companies, or at least 2 years of work experience at Nazarbayev University
