Job Description

Specialist is imposed with the following functions:

1) provides administrative support to the day - to day operations of the Division, meets visitors, schedules appointments, receives and sends correspondence;

2) drafts and signs agreements, internal and external correspondence, prepares timesheets, annual leaves and business trips schedules and records;

3) monitors and follows up the Division’s  documentation flow within the University system of electronic documentation exchange;

4) files the Division’s documents and submits those to the archive;

5) provides administrative and technical support to events and activities held by the Division;

6) assists in collecting information on topics related to the Division’s activities;

7) receives, allocates and monitors branded products to be distributed during career-related events and activities;

8) replaces responsible staff during their absence;

9) participates in the processes of risk identification, assessment, management, monitoring and generates relevant reports within supervised area;

10) timely and qualitatively executes other tasks assigned by the Head within the job duties and authorities.

11) timely and properly execution of tasks of the Head and the University’s Management;

12) observe the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University’s internal documents;

13) perform job duties in good faith;

14) strictly respect labor and performance discipline;

15) observe provision of the University’s mandatory internal documents;

16) in case of dismissal or transfer to another position, pass all paper and digital information, to another person, specified by the Head, under act of acceptance-transfer, and submit the inventory assets to the accountable officers of the University.

Qualifications

Higher education preferably with English as a main language of instruction

Priority specializations: human resources management; business administration; related fields

Minimum 1 year with bachelor or master degree in the relevant area

− knowledge of legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education;

− knowledge of software MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint;
