Company Description

Nazarbayev University Center for Preparatory Studies (hereinafter – CPS) provides two programs: Nazarbayev University Foundation Year Program and Nazarbayev University Zero Year of Master’s Programs. CPS administrative staff provides administrative and operational support in order to implement educational programs.

Job Description

  1. preparation and execution of documents on issues within the competence of the CPS;       
  2. implementation of interaction and correspondence with applicants, students and academic staff of the CPS on issues within the competence of the CPS;
  3. participation in the organization of the Nazarbayev University entrance test in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad, organization of the printing of examination material, ensuring security when printing materials, etc.;
  4. preparation of a recruitment plan and organization of a recruitment campaign to attract potential attendees in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad (presentations in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international educational exhibitions);
  5. organizing an Open Day and other recruiting events of the University and CPS to attract potential attendees, as well as providing them with logistical support;
  6. timely updating of text and visual content on the CPS's website, as well as monitoring of information on the University's website in part of the CPS;
  7. assistance in attracting students to commercial programs/ courses of the CPS;
  8. implementation of works related to the implementation of marketing activities of the CPS;
  9. participation in the planning and organization of CPS events to work with potential students and their parents;
  10. development and periodic updating of CPS information materials in electronic format and on paper;
  11. preparation of analytical materials, presentations, information on individual tasks, instructions of the Direct Supervisor within the competence of the CPS;
  12. participation in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the supervised direction

Qualifications

Education 

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction. Priority specializations:

  • marketing; 
  • economy;
  • management in education;
  • leadership in education;
  • management;
  • law;
  • IT; or related specialties in the field of humanities

Desired professional experience

Work experience should meet one of the following requirements:

  • With a Bachelor's degree / Specialist - at least three years;
  • At least 1 year with a master's degree in the relevant field.

Language proficiency:
