Job Description

1. Specialist is imposed with the following functions:

1) support of the marketing, advertising, promotional and public relations activities of the School;

2) participation in organizational arrangements for conferences, official meetings, round tables, short-term programs, courses, open days and other events in the School and the University;  

3) participation in the development and implementation of the School’s communications plan;  

4) participation with the maintenance and timely update of the School’s web-site;

5) providing support to the Department of Marketing with preparation of promotional materials of the School;

6) participation in planning and conducting integrated marketing campaigns, collecting and working with email database, sending regular communications to interested parties using email, conducting interviews, preparing materials for publications;

7) constant support and working with CRM system, assisting in preparing reports on effectiveness of marketing campaigns;

8) working with social networks, preparing text and visual content, and launching targeted advertising, lunching search and display advertising on search networks;

9) assisting in organizing guest lectures by third parties;

10) assistance with budget administration within the area of his/her competence;

11) participation in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;

12) timely and proper fulfillment of other tasks of the Dean, Head and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.

2. In order to fulfill abovementioned functions, Specialist executes following duties:

1) timely and properly execution of tasks of the Dean, Head and the University`s management;

2) observe the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University`s internal documents;

3) perform job duties in good faith;

4) strictly respect labor and performance discipline;

5) observe provision of the University`s mandatory internal documents;

6) in case of dismissal or transfer to another position –pass all paper and digital information, to another person, specified by the Head, under act of acceptance-transfer, and submit the inventory assets to the accountable officers of the University.

Qualifications

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction.

Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education Nazarbayev University.

Additional Information

- knowledge of processes and tools in the field of public relations and marketing communications is desirable;

- English translation skills;

- skills in records management in Kazakh and English;  

- advanced negotiation and work process planning skills;

- analytical and organizational skills;

- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint;

- fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English.
