Education
Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction

Qualifications
Priority specializations:
-    Computer Science or related field;
-    Management of Information Technology; 
-    Engineering 

Work experience
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the relevant area

Job functions:
1) installing new software and helping to train users to use it;
2) interaction with the ERP provider and working out the necessary issues to ensure the maintenance and development process;
3) receiving requirements, comments and proposals to the functionality of the Software Office (Administrative Software, ERP) (hereinafter - the Office) from structural units, Schools and organizations of the University, formalizing them and transferring them into development;
4) participation in development and coordination of documentation necessary for fulfillment of the Office assignments;
5) organization together with structural subdivisions, Schools and organizations of the University of the process of trial operation of ERP system modules and user training;
6) providing consulting and methodological assistance on ERP system maintenance and operation;
7) performance of the duties of the employees of the Office entrusted by the Head during their temporary absence (business trip, social leave, regular work leave, temporary disability);
8) participation in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;
9) timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Head and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.
 

Qualifications

Professional competencies
- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of information and education;
- knowledge of international standards in Information Technologies (hereinafter - IT);
- knowledge of functional and architecture of the used ERP system;
- knowledge  of principles of ERP system support;
- understanding of networking, software and hardware;
- preparation and delivery presentation skills; 
- ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- availability of certificates in IT relevant to the performance of these functions (desirable);
- professional possession of MSOffice programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- proficiency in English, Kazakh, Russian languages

Additional Information

Additional requirements:
- Knowledge of the basics of cloud software administration (Zoom, Qualtrics, Gmail, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of server software administration (IBM WebSphere Portal, Apache, Nginx, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of server OS administration (Windows, Linux)
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL)
- Development of SQL statements, connections, PL / SQL (stored procedures, triggers, functions)
- Implementation of new software, information system, or service
- Testing of information systems (functional, workload, and regression)
- Support for University users: on request, including remotely by email, phone, using software for remote access.
- Conducting sessions to train the staff of the University
- Providing users with the necessary instructions for working with information systems and services
- Help in resolving user issues
- Analysis of requests in order to minimize them
- Restoring the operability of the administered information systems after a failure.
- Daily monitoring of server health
