The Graduate School of Public Policy’s (GSPP) mission is to improve the quality of life of people in Kazakhstan and Central Asia by training leaders to improve governance through excellence in teaching, research and executive development that focuses on key policy and leadership challenges.

It aims to become the leading public policy school in Kazakhstan and the region and strives to raise the standards of governance through professional public policy education and research.

Since its launch in 2012, GSPP has maintained a strong strategic partnership with the National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. GSPP incorporates scientific research into its teaching to provide one of the most innovative and progressive master’s programs in the Central Asian region.

GSPP’s degree programs include the Master in Public Policy, Master in Public Administration, and the PhD in Public Policy.

 

Job Description

1)   coordination of social media activities of the School;

2) participating in the development, as well as subsequent monitoring the implementation of draft contracts and additional agreements initiated by the School;

3) providing advice on admission procedures, deadline for the submission of documents, online registration;

4) developing and supporting the School website, updating information;

5) planning and implementation of the public relations programme, as agreed with the Department of Marketing and Communications, to promote the School at the national, international and local level;

6) organizing of information activities of the School to attract potential students (open day, information sessions in and outside of Kazakhstan);

7) fundraising and its support at the School;

8) participating and fully cooperating on the issues related to the implementation of effective marketing policy to promote the School;

9) drafting correspondence within his/her functional duties;

10) providing assistance to the Dean and other colleagues in promoting the School towards external target audience and developing relationships, among others, with the representatives of the business, industry, government and university;

11) participating in the public events organization and implementation;

Qualifications

Higher education, preferably with English as a language of instruction; Master’s degree is preferable

Preferred majors:

  • Marketing;
  • IT technologies;
  • Management;
  • Business Administration

Working experience should correspond to one of following requirements:

- for Master’s degree – working experience at least 1 year in areas, corresponding to functional areas of certain position; or

- for Bachelor’s degree or Specialist – working experience at least 3 years in areas, corresponding to functional areas of certain position in international and/or national companies;
