The manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:

1)      Monitoring of student accommodation in the University dormitories;

2)      solving various issues and problems of students related to residing on campus of the University;

3)      Assisting the Senior Manager (Housing) in the implementation of the concept of "Residential Life";

4)      Assisting the Senior Manager (Housing) in coordination of activities of Resident Assistants selected among undergraduate students and Head Residents selected among graduate students;

5)      joint work with other departments of the University on student housing issues and elimination of identified deficiencies;

6)      analysis of activities related to the accommodation of students, assistance in the preparation of summary reports on the work of the Unit;

7)      making proposals and taking part in the development of projects of internal regulatory documents, plans, programs and recommendations regarding student housing;

8)      monitoring compliance by students with the Dormitory Rules, the Code of Conduct for Students and other internal regulatory documents of the University;

9)      preparation of proposals to the Director of the Department for the improvement of Student Life, including living and recreation conditions for students on campus of the University;

10)  temporary performs the duties (replaces) of the Senior manager during his/her  temporary absence (up to one month);

11)  timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management;

12)  observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employer`s internal documents;

13)  is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline;

14)  is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access in accordance with the legislation, Charter and internal documents of the Employer;  

15)  in case of dismissal, is responsible for timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee as instructed by the line manager (to be certified by the act of acceptance-transfer).

Work Experience:

Bachelor: Three years min.
Minimum one year with master`s degree in the relevant area

Education

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction

Work experience

Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education Nazarbayev University.

Successful working experience in the service industry, service organization, hotel business or service is preferable
