Job Description

1.       Manager is imposed with the following functions:

1) guiding the recruitment and selection processes of staff of the Division, Information Services and the Library as to how better assess the candidates;

2) hiring  employees of the Division, Information Services and the Library in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) conclusion of labor contracts with employees of the Division, Information Services and the Library, and all types of additional agreements to them;

4) maintaining, flling out, storing work books of employees of the Division, Information Services and the Library;

5) registration of timesheets of the Division;

6) preparation of draft decisions on the imposition of disciplinary sanctions and incentives on employees of the Division, Information Services and the Library;

7) reporting on personnel issues of the Division, Information Services and the Library to the Human Capital Development Department in accordance with requests;

8) supporting the Provost in the annual process of increasing and renewing the labor contracts of the faculty (Faculty Promotion Round, Faculty Renewal), together with other employees of the Operations Support Office;

9) participation in the development of internal regulatory documents of the University on personnel issues;

10) providing consulting and methodological assistance to employees of the Division, Information Services and the Library;

11) participation in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised;

12) timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Head and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.

Qualifications

1. Education:

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction

2. Priority specializations:

-human resources management;

- law;

- psychology;

- management

3. Work experience:

Sound working experience in recruitment and selection and HR administration

4. Professional competencies:

- Knowledge of processes and tools in staff administration;

- knowledge of labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- skills of HR related documentary records maintenance;

- budgeting skills;

- analytical skills;

- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, 1С: HR module;

- fluent in English, Kazakh, Russian
